Make a Plan to Vote

Early voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 7.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov 4.

Vote in Person

You can vote early in person at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections on 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland 44115

The polls are open on Election Day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Every voter must have a valid photo ID. 

Track your ballot

Check the status of your Vote-by-Mail ballot. Once you’ve requested a Vote-by-Mail ballot, you can track it online so you’ll know when it arrives.

Register to Vote

Register to vote by Oct. 6 to make your voice heard in the Nov. 4 Election. Make sure you change your address if you have moved.

Vote by Mail

  1. Complete a Vote-by-Mail ballot application for the upcoming election.

  2. Print, sign and mail the application back to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

  3. Receive your ballot in the mail. 

  4. Return your voted ballot.​ You must return your ballot in the mail or at the Cuyahoga Board of Elections ballot drop box, 7 days before the upcoming election.
